The
Provenance of Photo-Me
In
1946 came the creation of the first photobooth and in 1954
the Photo-Me company was set up.
1976 saw the introduction of ID photos in colour.
In 1994 Kis and Photo-Me jointly developed Photovision.
In 1998 the Group bought Prontophot and Photomaton, their
major competition.
2000 saw the launch of Photo Planet, the first multimedia
photobooth.
2002,
PMI launched the DMK, with Digital media printing capabilities
using traditional processing techniques ensuring high quality
prints.
2002, Second launch of this year was the DKS, our second generation
Digital Minilab which recently won the accolade of "Best
digital Minilab" at the 8th Annual DIMA Digital Printer
Shoot-Out which it entered in competition with major photofinishing
companies such as Agfa TM, Fuji TM and Noritsu TM.
2003, Launched the Minibooth Mark 2, the smallest Multiservice
booth in the world, enabling customers to use a variety of
photographic options including traditional I.D Portrait, Fun
and Digital Media printing.
2003, development of the wall mounted I.D Station, virtually
zero floor space required.
2003 first ATM sited in conjunction with Moneybox
